In the next couple months, DSG will be implimenting a large-scale version of our War Affected Families Protection and Empowerment Program in Cairo in collaboration with a large, well-respected Egyptian NGO. As of March 2025, we have signed our collaboration paperwork and are waiting to hear back from the Ministry Of Social Solidarity on its official approval. Once we hear back, the project can begin. With the additional staff and resources, we are able to offer currently displaced and newly incoming families the following support:

• Rental relief
• Food vouchers to local supermarkets
• Hygiene kits
• Trauma-informed psychological support sessions
• Group Empowerment Sessions
• Family fun and Community Building Days
