2027 Art Therapy Camp

Children affected by war and displacement carry experiences that are often difficult to put into words. Through our yearly art therapy camps, Denizens Society Global (DSG), along with our Egyptian partner organizations, creates a safe and nurturing space where displaced Palestinian children in Cairo can heal, express themselves, and rebuild confidence through art, drama, and psychological support. 

Over two months in summer of 2027, 25 children aged 10–13 will participate in trauma-informed art therapy sessions, individual psychosocial support, caregiver support sessions, and a therapeutic recreational field trip. Their creative journeys will culminate in a public exhibition showcasing their artwork and personal stories.

Each line item from the project is available for you to fund separately: from art materials and therapy sessions to teachers, meals, transportation, venue rental, and the final gallery celebration. Each purchase directly supports a piece of this healing experience and helps ensure children have access to the care, creativity, and support they deserve. When a line item is funded, it will be indicated by a "sold out" product!
